My experience in the electronics industry spans over 37 years. I've always had a passion for electronics and technology since I was very young, tinkering with car audio, TV’s and stereo systems. My professional electronics career began in the 1970's after graduating from Wentworth/Sylvania Technical Institute's Electronic Technology Program. I worked for GTE Government Systems building and installing electronic systems for radar detection systems used in ICBM testing. I entered field service in 1980 as a technical support engineer for American Optical Medical Division working with advanced patient monitoring and arrhythmia monitoring systems. I remained in the medical field over the years, working with companies such as Picker International, Affiliated Clinic Engineering Services and the Connecticut Hospital Association. In 1999 I founded Audio in Motion (AIM) and operated one of the first Internet retail companies selling consumer electronics. Shortly thereafter we developed the technical expertise to provide custom installation of home audio video systems and changed our name to AIM Home Theater. I co-founded Associated Audio Video Services (AAVS) in 2011. AAVS member companies will share knowledge, resources and ideas to make your experience with the latest technology even more exciting.
